Gavel Clubs are affiliated with Toastmasters International and are dedicated to the same principles. These clubs help 11 to 17 age group students to improve their speaking and leadership skills and gain self-confidence to face the challenges in their personal and professional life ahead.
The club meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon from 2.50 pm to 5 pm.

In these meetings, many unique speaking roles are provided such as anchor, speaker, evaluator, grammarian, timer, impromptu speaker, etc. Each role is a vital part of the meeting, helping each kid to learn speaking skills in many different ways. When a member first starts out, their first speech is a simple introduction of themself.
From there, objectives are defined for the 5-7 minute talks which will help them to focus on various aspects of public speaking: speech organization, body language, vocal variety, visual aids, etc.
The meetings are completely run by the children themselves! It's not just a teaching time - it's a hands-on learning time, where everyone works together, and learns from each other, in a supportive environment.
